Andrew Connolly, FPFS, Certs CII (MP & ER)

Andrew believes strongly that clients are best served by a team which can offer specialist advice in all areas of wealth management.

The Practice looks to deliver expert advice backed up with administrative excellence. The team are extremely professional and pride themselves on the strength of the relationships built up with their clients over many years.

Andrew joined St. James's Place Wealth Management as an Associate Partner in May 1995, qualifying as Partner in 1999 and was appointed Senior Partner in 2004.

He believes his success has been due to building trusted relationships over the long term and delivering high quality advice and service. The whole ethos of the practice has always been to put client needs first.

Andrew provides:

  • Proactive advice when changes in taxation or legislation affect clients
  • Specialist knowledge in the areas of Investment, Pension and Inheritance Tax Planning

Both of Andrew's sons have now joined the Practice so we are a truly intergenerational Practice. We look to help our clients and their families use their collective wealth to support each other during their lifetimes. We believe this innovative concept of intergenerational wealth management allows us to offer the perfect solutions to meet the modern family's needs.



Ryan Connolly, DipPFS, Cert CII (MP), Adviser

Ryan joined the Practice in December 2016 having graduated from the St. James’s Place Academy in Manchester. Through an intensive development programme, the Academy offers a limited number of outstanding individuals the opportunity to become a successful Wealth Manager with St. James’s Place.

Ryan’s aim is to build long term relationships with clients through regular face to face reviews. His approach is to help clients identify their current and longer term financial needs and aspirations and provide tailored financial planning solutions. Ryan provides advice in all areas of financial planning including investment planning, retirement, protection and mortgages.



Liam Connolly, DipPFS, Adviser

Liam joined the Practice in April 2017 having completed the prestigious St. James’s Place Academy programme. Liam works with clients on their financial planning to ensure their individual needs are met. He feels that it is essential to build bespoke financial strategies for clients, to enable them to achieve their goals and review these regularly to ensure they remain current.



The Administration Team

Richard Durham has been with the Practice since 2000 and is the New Business Manager dedicated to the efficient processing of new client business. Working closely with Richard, Caroline Newcombe joined the team in January 2017 as a Paraplanner. After joining the Practice in 2007 Sharon Gregg took on the role of Practice Manager at the beginning of 2012. Susan Connolly is the Diary Manager.

The team pride themselves on the friendly rapport they have built with many clients. Clients are always the most important people in the Practice and this is reflected in the speed and efficiency that all queries, requests and any other requirements are dealt with.
